Some healthy Seuss snacks from 3rd grade teachers to kick off March! (Green eggs=vanilla pudding and wafer, Lorax=clementine)
During March all of the students were asked to pick their favorite book character and bring them to life. The students were asked to do this as just one of their “March is Reading Month” activities. There will be three students chosen as winners and will be able to pick a prize from the treasure …
…and a pumpkin or two! Students were encourage to read, read, read in October. They filled out coupons based on the books they read and at the end of the month they reaped the rewards of all of that reading! Oh, and a few of our students were able to take home a beautiful pumpkin. …
First grade learned, rehearsed, and performed “What Does Pig Do”. They were learning new sight words and reviewing words with short “i”. They also were able to “add motions” to their acting and create “costumes”! The kindergartners came to watch their final performance! The first graders were very brave with their first live performance!
