K-2
K-2 Students will have technology class held in their classrooms. We will be using new Chromebook tablets to have the creativity of a drawing/touch surface while at the same time learning letter key placements, finger placements, and introduction to basic typing.

3-6
Students in grades 3-6 will come to the media center once a week for technology class. We will focus on computer literacy, typing, and digital citizenship as we work together throughout the year. We will be using technology to foster a deeper understanding of content in their core classes as well.

Junior High
Junior High Technology consists of 2 classes taken during electives. Tech 1 is required by all students in either their 7th or 8th grade year. In it, students will work on typing, computer skills development, digital citizenship, research skills, and evaluating news sources and online content. In Tech 2, students will continue working on typing skills with a specific focus on digital citizenship, creating digital content, and television production.
